Quinta de São Thiago
A family home set on the Northern lower slopes of the Sintra Hills. Sintra is a UNESCO protected area. The house originating in the 16th century still maintains many of its original attributes and traditional furniture but has been modermised to provide required comforts.
This Guest House has 10 Bedrooms to accomodate guests, all of which have their own character. Aside from two Family Suites which have a shared bathroom, all other rooms have their own en suite facilities.
Quinta de São Thiago works as a B&B; other meals can be prepared and served in our dining-room, for a minimum of 6-8 guests. Apart from this, snacks are also possible along the day, depending on what's available.

The house boasts a large library, chapel, dining room and various lounge areas and stunning views. Outside there are extensive gardens, swimming pool and tennis court. You can relax as you wish either in the sun by the pool or reading a book in the shade or going for walks within the property or in the surrounding area.
Our goal is to provide our guests with an unforgettable stay, in which you can relax in the peace and quiet of Sintra and partake of the beauty of the area.
There are many palaces and gardens of interest to visit within a short distance of the house, and within half an hour you can be in the city of Lisbon with all its Historical buildings, or in the night life of Estoril and Cascais, or on the beaches which surround the coastal area of Sintra.
Many of our guests return as we like to treat them as friends.

Sintra, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, was the first site to acquire the designation of Cultural Landscape for preserving its fundamental integrity, untouched testimony of successive cultures / civilizations that have passed here, in a course with 7,000 years of history.
